FOUNDER
Lauren Svenstrup leads Studio Sven with a hefty dose of wit, an undeniable point of view, and a deep understanding of how a home needs to function.
With a background in furniture and human-centered design, Lauren built her career at some of the country’s leading interior design firms, developing a foundation in the technical rigor, interior architecture, detailing, and problem-solving required to bring complex residential projects to life. Today, she toes the line between that studied, old-school design past and her inclination to buck the rules at every turn. It’s that balanced dualism that makes up her unique brand of alchemy.
Through a highly collaborative process, Lauren focuses on what makes each client tick - how they live, what they value, and what they’re drawn to - then translates it into spaces that are as functional and considered as they are unexpected.
